At Waves Universe we order products directly through Waves. Depending on the type of purchase here is how the product will be delivered:
- For original software product purchases: We email the license code to you via the email entered at checkout. You can then register it online at Waves and download the authorization to your iLok.
- For upgrade software purchases where we have your Waves account info: We purchase directly from Waves using your account information. Waves upgrades your account information to reflect the new product. You receive an email from Waves that the new product is active and ready for download to your iLok.
- For upgrade software purchases without your Waves account info: This is not commonly used because if you mistakenly think you are due an upgrade but are not, you may not get a refund. Waves will send us a special code that can be used to manually record the upgrade on your Waves account. You can then proceed with the iLok authorization.
- For all hardware: We charge a flat rate shipping charge of $10 and ship the product to you (normally directly from Waves).
- For purchase of WUP: WUP is a type of upgrade and is handled as an upgrade. Your Waves account will show the new WUP expiration dates.
